She’s Got the Look: Stylish Sneakers

Good looking and comfy – you really can’t go wrong!
As seen here on the streets during New York Fashion Week it’s pretty evident that stylish sneakers are creeping their way up the fashion ladder. There was a lot less teetering heels in the snow and a lot more practical comfort – with an added stylish twist. Sneakers are now in the spotlight, making some serious fashion statements.
Now I know sneakers were always deemed by some as the cool shoe, especially those who exclusively wore them, but I feel like more and more brands are upping their design game. Top magazine editors and fashion bloggers are trading in their stilettos for a more downtown look, thanks to a pair of stylish sneakers.
My favorite way to wear this look is with skinny jeans or pants with part of the ankle showing. Right now, I’m really digging the skater slip-on style, most commonly seen from Vans and Keds. Now you can find leopard print, leather finishing, faux croc, gold, hologram – you name it!
Fashinista everywhere are getting in on the style. Above you can see Chiara Ferragni of The Blonde Salad rocking her gold leather slip-ons she designed with Steve Madden. They are on my wish list for sure!
