A new website, SoKind Registry, is set up to help you do just that. It’s a registry website for any occasion – though we imagine they’re thinking mostly about weddings – that focuses on non-material gifts.

And it’s about time.
In what my recently married sister describes as the “wedding-industrial complex” (!), there’s sometimes no room to be eco-friendly, to opt for a smaller gift, or to downsize the limo. SoKind, which is sponsored by the Center for a New American Dream, might be just the right thing.
